Eye Eye....

Loving creating pieces with eyes just now! Working on an absolute beauty at the moment which I have decided to call 'The Leita Necklace'

'Leita' means 'looking' in Icelandic which has some meaning to me as my grandad was born in Iceland and adopted before being brought up in Scotland. The piece is going to have intricate pierced patterns, butterflies, topaz and pearls as well as beautiful eye imagery. The 'Leita' necklace is a real statement piece and is going to be one to want.......

A combination of oxidised silver, pearls and citrines with vintage inspired decorative detailing, patterns and quirky eye imagery.

The new collection is now available at Brazen Studios in Glasgow and will be available in my online shop soon (keep your eyes peeled for the announcement!) I love this new collection for it's grown up, easy to wear style - I would love to hear your own thoughts and suggestions as always!

I have had the pleasure of completing my first engagement ring commissions recently! These have been a huge learning curve for me and I have really enjoyed the challenge and the extreme job satisfaction which comes with such a commission!

Made11 & Solo plans

I have just been announced as one of the designers who will be exhibiting at Made11 next month in Brighton!

Very excited about this opportunity. I will be exhibiting alongside 5 other lovely designers - Jane Gowans, Katie Lees, Myia Bonner, Nicola Reed & Katherine Seaman as part of a collaboration between Vanilla Ink & Contemporary Lab. I also have my first solo exhibition coming up. Getting a little nervous about this now! I have posted some images of what I am being inspired by for this show and my Made11 collection.
